mpakoo: 'curiously compounded'

My name is Kofi: it says I was born on Friday. My name is also Mpakoo: it says I was born on Friday and that I’m the father of my mother. I grew up in Korle Gonno, that lively, lovely, little town squeezed between Bukom and Chorkor. I’m a student of Sociology. Which is an accident. My parents sent me to the University of Ghana to study English: I got lost on my way to the English Department, ending up in the neighbouring Department of Sociology.
